Baseball’s one of the only sports where you or I just physically can’t do the normal act of what they do. I mean, I’m not talking about game-time pressure or defending against Kobe. We can all shoot a basketball or catch a normal football pass (not a Tom Brady one but that’s not “normal”). I’m a pretty strong dude and if I put my whole body into it I can throw a baseball like 70 mph. Let alone hit a pitch at that speed.

It seems so easy but the highest level on the normal batting cage is like 15 mph slower than a real major league pitch.
