/Kinda nice when you go on a couple dates with a (really cool) waitress. I skipped the line and I get free soup! Yay.

Hello friends and friendly visitors. My name is Justin Pierce Baldwin Gerald and this is my space. The goal is to share my world with my audience and hopefully learn something about you in the process of doing so.
I'm 28, born and raised in NYC, and lived here most of my life, aside from college and two years in South Korea, where I began my career in education.
I got my Masters in TESOL in 2012 from The New School, and now I work in Education Management for a non-profit on the Upper East Side.
I work with adult students of many different backgrounds and, two days a week, with senior citizens whose goal is to create small fires which I must do my best to extinguish. It's fun, frustrating and fascinating, and I truly enjoy my life.
On this website I will share my thoughts about education, pop culture, and fitness. As I become more and more of a runner, the focus of the blog will shift more towards running (note: this has occurred!), but other stuff will appear from time to time, too. I hope you find it all compelling.
Enjoy. :)
